The Times has reported that Mason Greenwood’s Manchester United teammates do not want him to come back, even though all charges against him were dropped this month.
Up until earlier this month, the 21-year-old striker was accused of coercive and controlling behaviour, attempted rape, and violence. According to a recent report, some players are worried about Greenwood “coming back into the fold.”
The English star is currently on club suspension while an internal inquiry is conducted. Even if the investigation clears him, it appears that some of his squad mates may be hesitant to have him rejoin the group.
The story also said that if Greenwood hadn’t been found guilty of anything, others wouldn’t oppose it. The United women’s team doesn’t have the striker to return to Old Trafford.

Greenwood was deemed guilty by the GPS, after the withdrawal of the key witness in his case. However, it remains to be seen whether the club allows him to kickstart his career at Old Trafford.
