As reported by Metro, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has responded to Paul Pogba transfer links and it was a pretty classy Pochettino answer.
Paul Pogba has been linked to a move to PSG throughout the summer. As Fabrizio Romano reported, Former Juventus Sports director Fabio Paratici who is now Tottenham’s sports director has revealed that Juventus were never close to landing Paul Pogba. The Juventus rumors have now died and it’s only one team who is in the race for Paul Pogba.
PSG has the financial power to buy Paul Pogba but Manchester United will not sell him for cheap. The connections have been very strong and when PSG manager Paratici was asked about the speculated rumors about Pogba heading to PSG, he swerved away from talking about other players.
He said: “You see the list of players that we have at home. We have plenty of players. Half of the squad is at home. A few are on holiday. I think the performance was good. I am happy and I don’t want to talk about the names of the players that are in other clubs.”
Manchester United will ask for a fee of £50m for the French midfielder. If he leaves then United will use the funds to sign a new midfielder before the transfer window ends.
Solksjaer will is trying his best to keep his star player and collect funds by selling other players so that he can at least collect £80m through player sales. United needs money to sign other targets like Kieran Trippier and Eduardo Camavinga this summer and the only way is to sell their players.
