Scott McTominay has played well in recent times and has received a lot of accolades due to his performances. His game against PSG was exceptional and he was one of the main reasons for Manchester United’s victory in Paris. In his recent talk with Manchester United’s Official Website, McTominay has put forward a challenge to him and the entire team to repeat the performance against PSG with Leipzig as well.
Fred and McTominay were great in the midfield against PSG and stopped the likes of Neymar and Mbappe from progressing. Both the midfielders are very god defensively and play their hearts out for Manchester United. In his recent interview, McTominay has again shown his passion for the Red Devils and has encouraged the squad to get a victory against Leipzig.
In his interview, the Scot said: “There’s no point going away to Paris, when it is a big game and the whole world is watching, and doing really well, and then not playing as well or doing all the right things that got you the win in Paris at home against Leipzig.”
McTominay has graduated from the Manchester United academy and is very passionate about the Red Devils. The midfielder is again in contention to start against Leipzig but is likely to be rested, with Pogba looking good again. Manchester United will be favourites to take all three points against the German club at Old Trafford.
