One year ago, Mino Raiola felt that Juventus can’t afford Paul Pogba and his wages.
In the latest episode of ‘Pogmentary’, the agent clearly stated that the Italian club could not be his destination anytime soon.
Raiola passed away in April after a long illness. In Pogmentary, a documentary based on the life and career of France midfielder Paul Pogba has mentioned that Raiola was one of the most powerful agents in the world. Such was his stature that his ex-client Paul Pogba refers to him as the “horror of clubs.”
It starts in May 2021, when Pogba’s contract with Manchester United was up for renewal. Raiola and Rafaela Pimenta, who had paid Pogba a visit at his Manchester residence, have a virtual encounter with him.
Raiola wanted Pogba to leave Manchester United right away, adding that he had already contacted PSG and spoken with Barcelona twice.

According to the Athletic, Pogba asked whether Juventus could afford his return, for which Raiola said:
“No, no. Juventus can’t afford you anymore. I’m here. I’m also meeting with Paris and I have already had two meetings with Barca. The market is like the sea: up, down, up, down.”
Things have changed recently, as the Bianconeri has reached a deal with Pogba and Pimenta. The French midfielder’s return is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
He’ll be in Turin for the second time. Pogba joined Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United in June 2012 after refusing to sign a new contract with the Red Devils.
In 2016, a €100 million transfer brought the Frenchman back to Old Trafford. Between 2012 and 2016, the 29-year-old made 178 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals in the process. After agreeing to a four-year contract, Juventus are set to announce his return next month.
