Manchester United has always had a knack of snapping up some of the youngest talents in and out of Europe. Their scouts have pulled all the right strings, and if the reports are to be believed, then another Wonderkid may be joining their ranks.
Moises Caicedo is one of the hottest properties right now as this 19-year-old is making heads spin. He is a central midfield player currently plying his trade at Independiente del Valle. It is touted that Manchester United will make a move for the youngster in the January transfer window.
He has scored two goals and given one assist in 13 matches for Independiente Del Valle in the Ecuadorian Serie A, and another two goals and one assist in six matches in the Libertadores competition.
While he may still be young, he has great interception and tackling skills which would be an excellent addition to any team as it would also help them becoming defensively solid. He does not shy away from spraying those long balls on several occasions and can really help open up defences, especially the compact ones.
His composure on the ball is pretty great for someone of that age, and his vision is also commendable. One can understand why a club like Manchester United would be interested in signing a player like him.
While the Ecuadorian Serie A and the Premier League are poles apart in terms of competitiveness at 19 years of age, Moises Caicedo would undoubtedly be one for the future and can be moulded into something extraordinary.
