Mount and Wan-Bissaka Return Boosts Man Utd Squad

The Red Devils have received a significant boost in their Training squad with the return of their key players The return of Injured Midfielder Mason Mount and Defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the training Squad has brought Erik Ten Hag confidence in the squad. Both Players have been sidelined with Injuries and have limited  contributions to the team because of their injuries

Mason Mount The England international has been out since November due to a calf issue. He last played for United in a 1-0 victory over Luton Town at Old Trafford on November 11. Mount resumed light training as far back as the end of December but has not made progress as quickly as he would have liked. Injuries have played a major role in his debut season at Manchester United, restricting him to only 12 appearances in all competitions thus far.

Mount joined United from Chelsea in July in a transfer that cost the club £60 million. He has only played eight times in the premier league. United have said Mount has ‘worked closely with the club’s medical staff‘ during his rehabilitation period, displaying an excellent work ethic. Despite releasing an update on his present Update, the club has not set a precise date for his comeback. However, he showed up at the training session before the match against Liverpool. This has boosted trust in both the team management and fans.

Wan-Bissaka suffered an unexplained muscle injury to his leg. Providing an important boost to United’s defence on his return to the squad, the backline of United has been damaged by injuries to Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Harry Maguire. With Victor Lindelof stepping in at left back, Wan-Bissaka’s return adds much-needed depth and flexibility to the backline.

While it is still unknown whether either player will be available for the coming FA Cup match, their return to training increases Erik Ten Hag’s possibilities significantly. The manager is likely to present a better picture of team selection in his pre-match news conference on Friday.
