Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho may well be open to a swap deal that involves Jadon Sancho after United actually made a bid for Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
Having returned to Dortmund for the remainder of last term on loan, Jadon has played just three times for United this season and was an immixed subject in speculations surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
Sancho’s situation has been a topic of discussion. Although he did report for pre-season training at United, he will not travel to Norway, instead he will stay behind at Carrington to work on his form.
His temporary role last season and the persistent rumors tell that his long-term future within the club is very much in doubt.
Rumours say that Sancho could make a permanent move this summer, with his name surfacing frequently in transfer rumors.
The report from Turkish news outlet Sabah reveals that Manchester United is trying to sign Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce.
United reportedly offered £21m to the Turkish Super Lig club, but Fenerbahce wants £30m.
Unless United increases their offer, Fenerbahce, under their manager Mourinho, could offer Sancho in a swap deal.

Mourinho’s interest in Sancho therefore brings a different dimension into the whole transfer saga.
It is believed the loan move back to Borussia Dortmund was for Sancho to rediscover form and confidence.
His future at United hasn’t been very bright keeping in mind the club’s continuous endeavour to rebuild and strengthen its squad under present management.
The left-back position has also been a problem for United.
The team has had to rely so much on Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, but Malacia did not play last season due to his injury, Shaw himself having fitness problems, so in that area, United have been weak.
Interest in Kadioglu by United is very much about strengthening this key area.
Fenerbahçe’s insistence on an increased fee therefore denotes value for Kadioglu.
Now, this potential swap deal with Sancho will provide a mutual solution.
Taking Sancho to Fenerbahçe would be huge for Mourinho and the reunion with an immensely gifted young player who had so much promise would be what he is looking for.
United will get Kadioglu into their squad—something they so badly need—while letting go of Sancho who will get a new life under a manager who truly believes in his abilities.
This potential swap deal between Jadon Sancho and Ferdi Kadioglu shows just how tricky, and thus strategic, modern-day football transfers can get.
Mourinho’s interest in Sancho, coupled with United’s reported interest in Kadioglu, underlines how complicated the window can be.
