There is no other manager who can accept criticism like he can or accept mediocrity the same way he does. We may hate Mourinho but this guy is still capable of delivering miracles with his skills. In a recent interview Mourinho mentioned the hype that media create.
Mourinho told that his team was up for the challenge, and would do wonders. Last night in the press conference Mourinho slammed media houses saying that :
“From what I hear, it’s difficult to believe that we came second. You are capable of making people who finished second look like they got relegated and people who finished below us look like serial winners.”
Do you think your team will top this season?
“Any point can be crucial – you don’t know what is going to happen in the end of the season. You have to try your best to get points and even with the difficulties that we had with our pre-season, now I don’t think is the time to be speaking about that. It’s time just to say ‘tomorrow we have a Premier League match’ and we have to play to win it.”
Let’s just hope that the Portugese can get the cup in his third season for United.
