Nani: I don’t see Man City being stronger than Man United

Manchester United has gotten a lot of negative comments recently for their helpless record when playing against the so-called Big Six teams, with a weekend ago’s 0-0 draw at Chelsea the 6th progressive game against such type of rival wherein they have neglected to score.

Five of those six matches finished 0-0, while the last time United figured out how to get a goal against the class’s greatest clubs was the 6-1 embarrassment by Tottenham toward the beginning of October.

Such signs don’t offer an especially splendid standpoint in front of their outing to the runaway chiefs, with City heading into the end of the week only one match away from setting another club record, having now gone 28 games unbeaten across all rivalries.

However, ex-United star Nani, demands sheer capacity alone isn’t the purpose behind the hole in the table.

In an Interview with Stats Perform News, Nani said: “What I have seen of this team and what I saw from last season, United are building a strong team. They are building a young, strong team, so that’s very good. Man United has a great coach now and it’s a matter of time. I don’t see Man City stronger than Man United, I see they look more experienced, and they are in a good form. I think the next game will be important for the end of the season if they beat Man City, we have all the chance and I think we’re going to win it because that is a different game. But they have to go with everything.”

In spite of his trust in United, Nani appreciates the work Guardiola has done in 2020-21 – all things considered, City took only 12 clear points from their initial eight matches in the midst of a drowsy beginning to the season. However, Guardiola made something happen and City has not dropped a solitary point since being held to a 1-1 draw by West Brom on December 15.

This game will be crucial and every United player knows that Nani’s comments can bring some confidence in the team and also provides an upliftment for the fans.
