Manchester United legend Gary Neville has always been a passionate supporter of the Red Devils, through their thick and thin. The former United captain, the now-turned pundit, is these days known for his passionate rants against the way Manchester United is run. In his recent interview with the Mail, Neville has expressed his frustration on the Jadon Sancho saga, as United have spent the entire summer trying to sign him.
Manchester United have spent the entire summer trying to sign the talented winger from Borussia Dortmund. With no concrete signs of the player coming to Old Trafford next season, Neville, like all other United fans, has been left frustrated.
In his latest interview, he said: “Like everyone else they had three months off because of coronavirus, so I don’t think it should be the case they didn’t have the resource or time to get things done. Chelsea got their business done, (Manchester) City have got three or four pieces done. I don’t think timing’s the issue.
Neville also added: “They think they can hang on but they always pay it (the asking price) in the end. That’s sometimes where I think you can take control, give a hard deadline and say ‘we’re moving away from this deal.” With only four days to go for the Premier League to begin, United have to do their business quickly.
