Manchester United were desperate for a centre-back this summer transfer window but failed to sign one because of the board’s incompetence. The Red Devils were linked to several defenders in the summer including the likes of Pau Torres and Dayot Upamecano. It is now being reported by transfer expert Christian Falk that Niklas Sule of Bayern Munich dreams of playing for Manchester United in the near future.
The Red Devils have already been linked with a few defenders for the winter transfer window, including Zagadou and Carmo. United have been defensively poor this season, as neither Lindelof nor Maguire has played well in the opening fixtures. It has been long touted that Maguire needs a centre-back partner who is quick and strong, unlike Lindelof.
It has been reported that Sule is dreaming to play for the Red Devils in the near future after less game-time at Bayern. The German international is young, big and strong with good pace and experience as well. Sule is a regular for the German national side, but has failed to get into the Bayern playing XI this season with Alaba moving to centre-back.

The 25-year German defender will be a great addition to the Manchester United squad and the board should try to sign him, as his contract expires in 2022.
