Nine Two Foundation has promised to invest £0.8 billion into Manchester United if their proposal is accepted this summer.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs reports that the Glazer family would not take the planned investment into account when making a decision. They only take into account the club valuation, which is based on 100% of the shares rather than the Glazers’ 69% ownership.
The bid from Sir Jim Ratcliffe is predicated on a club valuation of 100%, from which he seeks a controlling interest. He will make additional investments, but he hasn’t specified them in his offer.
The patience of United supporters has surely been tested by the lengthy ownership situation. It’s time to make a decision since the Glazers have dragged this out for too long.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani’s Nine Two Foundation is said to have submitted a proposal that is less than the £6 billion asking price.
The claimed value of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s offer is comparable, but there are questions regarding his ability to outbid the Qatari financially.
His proposal, along with the third choice of a hedge firm acquiring a portion of the club, would permit the Glazers to continue playing at Old Trafford.
United supporters would not be happy with either of those possibilities; as they want the Glazers to leave this summer. Any potential buyer should make a record-high bid in order to convince the American owners to sell the club.
