Manchester United have been in the lookout of a right-winger through the summer and were closely linked to several players. The club had been prioritizing a move for Jadon Sancho but it fell off on the final day of the transfer window. In his latest talk with Sports Bild, Bayern Munich’s sporting director has talked about rumours linking Kingsley Coman with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
Kingsley Coman has been linked to Manchester United earlier, as an alternative to Jadon Sancho. The Frenchman has found game-time hard to come by at Bavaria even though he was the only goalscorer in the Champions League final. Though United have signed Pellistri and Amad Diallo there were rumours that the Red Devils might sign Coman.
But in his latest talk Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic said: “There was nothing, and we wouldn’t have looked into it either. His goal in the Champions League final should explain enough why we are relying on him wholeheartedly.”
Kingsley Coman is loved at Bayern Munich and it will take something special from Manchester United to get the winger to Old Trafford.
Coman would surely be a great signing for the Red Devils, but his chances of joining United are very slim. The board must concentrate on signing the players who would like to come to the club and not just any other talented player.
