As reported by Sky Sports, Norwich City is in advanced talks to sign Manchester United left-back Brandon Williams on loan. He could be another United player who will be heading out for a loan move to get some much-needed game-time.
Brandon Williams was linked with other English clubs and it was quite clear that he could make a move soon. Solksjaer has been looking to loan out some young players of his squad to gift them some precious minutes.
Williams was handed his first professional contract in 2019. He then made his first senior debut in the same year against Rochdale where he made his first appearance as a substitute.
He was able to grab the regular team spot as Luke Shaw was out of form and Ashley Young was trying to move to Inter Milan.
Luke Shaw then returned back to his original form and soon became a regular for Manchester United. Since then Brandon Williams has been devoid of game-time and has been a benchwarmer for most of the time.
A loan move will be ideal for the young player considering that he has a lot to offer to the team and will be trying to develop his skills to play as a starter.
Southampton was also interested in signing Brandon Williams on loan but it looks like Norwich City will get the nod to sign the English left-back.
