Manchester United defeated Norwich City by a 0-1 scoreline at the Carrow Road on Saturday. A penalty goal from Cristiano Ronaldo made sure that all three points are grabbed from Ralf Rangnick’s men.
Here are our exclusive player ratings from the match:
David de Gea: 9
In the first half, he had nothing to do, but in the second half, he stopped superbly from Teemu Pukki’s drive and Ozan Kabak’s header.
Diogo Dalot: 7
One of United’s most dependable and consistent attackers. In attacks, he was always present down the flank. A progressive performance yet again.
Victor Lindelof: 5
He had a tense afternoon with Teemu Pukki and eventually had to leave in pain.
Harry Maguire: 6
Surprisingly hesitant to join the attack and sluggish with the ball at his feet. Corners were well-defended.
Alex Telles: 7
Another outstanding performance by the Brazilian left-back. His accurate crosses created decent attacking chances, and his first-half free-kick brushed the crossbar.
Scott McTominay: 7
Positive with the ball and once again guarded the back four with vigilance. United was awarded a penalty as a result of his cross.
Fred: 8
Fred, the most disciplined player and passed the ball with ease. He again played a crucial role in connecting the midfield with the front two. He also saved Lindelof with a challenge inside his own half. Effortlessly effective.
Bruno Fernandes: 3
Again, he’s unreliable on the ball, and his game clashes with Rangnick’s strategy. His status as one of the team’s important players should be in jeopardy already.
Jadon Sancho: 5
When he had the ball, he looked dangerous, but he didn’t receive it often. It was unfortunate that he was the first to be substituted when he was the most promising of the front four.
Marcus Rashford: 3
He was fortunate to get off to a good start and needed to perform, but he didn’t. Sloppy with the ball, frequently ignorant without it, and rarely made the appropriate decision. The best moment was when he gave Ronaldo a good chance to score through a counter-attack.
Cristiano Ronaldo: 6

With the exception of one attempt that Tim Krul easily turned away, Ronaldo did not appear to have benefited from his six-day break. He did, however, win and score a penalty.
Substitutes:
Mason Greenwood: 5
Did very little once he came on.
Eric Bailly: 5
Had little to no impact as it was very late.
Donny Van de Beek: N/A
Came on very late.
