According to transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest are discussing a move for goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Henderson has told United executives that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer. Forest, promoted to the Premier League last season, is ready to agree on an initial loan deal for him.
Manchester United is willing to allow the England goalkeeper to leave temporarily. Last season, Henderson was limited to just three first-team appearances as David De Gea’s backup.

He wants to play regular games to gain a spot in England’s World Cup squad, which will begin in Qatar in November. Brice Samba, Forest’s current No. 1, is rumored to be leaving this summer.
Dean Henderson was impressed during a loan spell with Sheffield United, appearing 36 times in the Premier League for the Blades in 2019-20.
Surprisingly, the English goalkeeper was also linked to Newcastle United. However, the Magpies have pulled out of the race to sign him permanently.
In 2020, he signed a new five-year contract at Old Trafford to compete with De Gea. During the 2020-21 season, he shared duties with the Spaniard and made 26 appearances across all competitions, but he did not have the same opportunities last season.
Even if Henderson were to go, United would still have De Gea and Tom Heaton in goal. Also, spare goalkeeper Lee Grant has left the club.
