Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was spotted waving his hands to United fans who had travelled to London to watch their team get thrashed 4-1.

As reported by SkySports, The iconic Norwegian appeared to apologize for what they had just witnessed after promising a good show, but some believe he is waving goodbye.

Even those who thought Solskjaer wouldn’t be fired after a terrible performance against Watford altered their minds once the scoreline reached embarrassing numbers.

The former Molde player made it through the international break only to watch his United team crumble against their struggling opponents. In truth, it never appeared like Solskjaer’s side would win, as Watford dominated the match for the whole of 90 minutes.

It’s tough to see the former striker remaining on at this point, but the Red Devils’ board is no closer to finding a replacement than they were previously.

Old Trafford is clearly in crisis, but the management has been ignoring the warning signs for some time. Many supporters would like to see Erik ten Hag of Ajax take over, but it does not look to be a smooth arrangement.
