Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world and the manager of the club is always under pressure for getting results. The case is no different with current United manager and club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite the performances by the team. In his recent press conference, Solskjaer has admitted that the pressure is on him too and he can’t plan any more than the next six games.
Solskjaer has been publicly backed by Ed Woodward and the United board as a long-term manager of the club. But there were earlier reports that linked the United board talking to Mauricio Pochettino, as a potential replacement of Solskjaer. Recently Solskjer also accepted the fact that he is always under pressure at the helm at Old Trafford.
In his recent interview, Solskjaer said: “Of course, you’ve got to look at the short-term results as well but my vision is long term and my discussions with the club have always been long term. But also short term, you can’t not think about the next six games. You’ve got to think about the next game and the next six.”
The team has done very well under Solskjaer and have also come out well after a poor start to the season. The Norwegian is highly appreciated and respected by the squad and the United faithful also love him and currently he has shown his tactical side to things as well. He will hope that he creates a legacy at Manchester United as he did as a player of the Red Devils.
