Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has had a tough start to life at Manchester United with some great results and some inconsistent ones throughout his tenure as the boss of the Red Devils.
Alex Fergusson also came to Manchester united when things weren’t such smooth sailing and it took some time but along with Eric Harrison and an amazing staff and crop of players he managed to turn that side into one which will be remembered for a long time.
Alex Fergusson did not win a trophy in the first three years as a manager but went on to become Manchester United’s most decorated manager by the end of his tenure.
Ole has stated that Sir Alex Fergusson has had a big impact on his career and he has certainly picked up a lot of things from the ex-Manchester United coach.
Despite all of this he stated that he likes to do things his own way and does not need Sir Alex’s advice on the current situation.
Manchester United has made huge progress in recent times and the inclusion of some players has proven to be a huge push for the entire squad.
Ole doesn’t yet have anything to show for it on his resume but the good things always take time and his recent transfer policy has shown that he has a long-term vision for the club even though the fans may start getting impatient now.
The inconsistency mostly stems from the backline and that is definitely one area where they have to improve and getting reinforcements in that area is their priority task right now.
