Erling Haaland is unarguably one of the most talented youngsters in world football right now and has only been growing from strength to strength with time.
Many of the top coaches in the world have been in awe of his talent and skill and would love to bring him to their doorstep.
Manchester United themselves have been keen on landing the young striker for a long time now with reports flying about every season.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Erling have a great personal history as they were together for more than a year and Ole has nothing but praise for the youngster who is slowly finding his way to the top of Europe’s elite.
“Erling will have a fantastic career,” Solskjaer told Norwegian outlet VG.
He further added “I’m following Erling. I’ve always said that. Was it 18 months we had together or something? Almost two years, maybe. A wonderful time. He will definitely have a great career for both Norway and his club.”
It may be difficult to get such a star to Manchester United because of the past history that they have with their rivals Manchester City.
Another factor that may be a big deterrent is that even though Manchester United has made a lot of progress they haven’t really got a lot on their resume to show for it and still need to put together a few pieces of the puzzle.
Ole and Erling Haaland share a special relationship that goes back to his Molde days but then again Ole doesn’t have the best credentials as a manager and with a couple of years under his belt the hierarchy might just be getting a bit anxious now.
Ole shares the fact that he is really happy with the progress of his countrymen and would love to see him grow even more.
