As reported by Fabrizio Romano, French giants Olympique Marseille are not having any talks with Manchester United regarding a transfer for star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The club’s President, Pablo Longoria is disappointed with the rumours as the Ligue 1 side are building a different project. Marseille have signed 5-6 key players this season all within the range of € 10 million.
Their transfer activity seems to be over after securing a loan deal for United centre-back Eric Bailly. The defender joined the club on a season-long loan deal.

However, soon after the Ivory Coast star signed for Marseille, rumours started making rounds regarding the club’s interest in Ronaldo. Currently, the French club are stacked in attack and doesn’t have any intention to sign the Portuguese striker.
Juventus are close to securing a move for Marseille striker Milik and that would have sparked fresh claims that the club are looking to replace him with the 37-year-old. United are not entertaining any offers for Ronaldo at the moment as Erik ten Hag wants to keep him in his plans.
The striker’s agent, Jorge Mendes will be looking for options even if it looks highly unlikely for any club to sign the former Juventus striker before the transfer window shuts. It remains to be seen whether the striker forces a move or the Red Devils hunt for a new striker in the coming days.
