Paris Saint-Germain prepared to splash upto €75 million to sign Marcus Rashford

According to The Sun, Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to spend more than €75 million to sign Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford.

Currently, the 25-year-old is in the best shape of his life. In his first 20 Premier League matches, he has nine goals and three assists.

The English forward also assisted on both goals in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. However, his current Old Trafford deal is scheduled to expire in June 2024. PSG is prepared to shell out more than €75 million to bring in Rashford during the summer transfer window. Lionel Messi is being strongly persuaded to sign an extension at the Parc des Princes.

But according to recent Marca sources, the Argentine is not really eager to extend his stay in Paris. They are therefore willing to invest a lot of money in order to try to sign Rashford in the summer.

United’s performance under Erik ten Hag is fantastic. They currently have a very strong team thanks to some excellent summer signings made by the Dutch manager.

The Red Devils are the front-runners to fix their spot in the top four right now. They might even compete for the Premier League title the following year. This season, Rashford has also had a strong performance at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old’s desire to leave United at this point seems doubtful.

The Old Trafford side is eager to renew his present deal, and he is apparently eligible to earn a base salary of around £300,000.
