French midfielder Paul Pogba has been the subject of transfer rumors in recent weeks. However, according to recent reports, the Manchester United footballer may end up joining their arch-rivals Manchester City.
Paul Pogba is open to joining fierce rivals Man City this summer, according to The Guardian.
Manchester City is reportedly considering signing Pogba on a free transfer when his contract with the club expires in the summer. Last season, the 29-year-old midfielder was offered a new contract, but he declined.
With 58 points from 36 games, Manchester United has had a poor season and is trying to sign new players this summer to help them improve next season. According to The Guardian, Manchester City is willing to grant the Frenchman a four-year contract with the option of an additional year.

Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 for an 89-million-pound record transfer fee. He has 29 goals in 154 Premier League matches for Manchester United in six seasons. He has won one League Cup and one Europa League during his second spell at Manchester United.
If Pogba joins Manchester City, the old, famous, and much-discussed rivalry between Manchester United and Manchester City will be reignited.

Manchester City tried to sign Ronaldo last year but failed in their attempts. Things changed dramatically in the end, as the former Real Madrid striker chose to return to his previous club, Manchester United.
Paul Pogba will not be the first footballer to play for both Manchester clubs. Brian Kidd, Denis Law, Andrew Cole, Peter Schmeichel, Owen Hargreaves, and Carlos Tevez have previously worn the jerseys of both Manchester clubs.
