Manchester United star midfielder Paul Pogba is moving closer to returning from his ankle injury as he most recently had his ankle cast removed on Monday.
The World Cup winner has only managed to make five Premier League appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils and Pogba has mostly been on the sidelines since late September following an ankle problem.
However, the 26-year-old Frenchman is getting closer to making a return to first-team football action for Ole Gunnar Solskaer after Pogba had his ankle cast removed earlier this week. Pogba then took to social media and posted a video of the procedure on Instagram which indicated that he is closing in on a return from his injury.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently explained that he expected to be without Pogba for the whole of November which meant that the midfield gem would return to training with the squad in December.
Manchester United have struggled with the absence of Pogba in the center of the park as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have not had the desired service to rack up the goals. The red half of Manchester currently sits in seventh place on the Premier League table, nine points away from a top-four spot.
United have qualified for the next round of their Europa League encounter and are at the top of their group with two games remaining. However, the fallen Premier League giants are still lacking conviction and Pogba is essential to Solskjaer’s plans if the Norwegian is to take United back to the summit
