Paul Pogba’s future has always been a much-asked question in his time at Manchester United, with his links to Juventus and Real Madrid. The Frenchman had a good end to last season, but his start to this season has been poor. Last night, in his post-match press conference, Pogba has talked about his future at Manchester United amongst all the rumours around his future.
After suffering from the coronavirus, which was coupled with almost no pre-season, Pogba has found it difficult in the Premier League. The World Cup winner has looked rusty and has shown no signs of his former best, which must be a concern to United manager Solskjaer. With the addition of Van de Beek to the squad, Pogba’s position is now under threat and the Frenchman has to step up.
According to Manchester Evening News, when asked about his future, Pogba said: “I am in Manchester and I love my club. I am playing in Manchester, I’m having fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves it. I will give everything to the max, like my teammates.”
Earlier it was reported that his agent, Mino Raiola had also confirmed Pogba will be staying at United and soon expects talks for a contract extension.
Paul Pogba is surely one of the best midfielders in the world, but the Frenchman needs to be consistent to keep his critics shut.
