Paul Pogba: We conceded easy and stupid goals against Leicester

Manchester United suffered a horrible defeat against Leicester City and boy, it was a nightmare to watch. United’s defenders were scattered everywhere, but not in the right place.

Man marking was poor, tracking the players quickly was not all seen, lack of coordination, inconsistent performances, getting caught on counter-attacks, and many more faults were clearly pointed out.

It is an endless list and Leicester City made a mockery of our defending. Mason Greenwood’s first goal brought hope and Rashford’s second-half goal was great to watch but those were just a few bright moments in the terrible 90 minutes that the fans had to witness.

Solskjaer was looking short of ideas and we know that he knew that his team is looking lost, the players know that they are not in their best shape. Paul Pogba talked about the same, and he has been brutally honest about their performance against Leicester City.

As reported by SkySports, he said:

“We deserved to lose. To be honest, we have been having this kind of game for a long time. We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals, stupid goals. We need to be more mature, play with more experience and arrogance in a good way. We need to find something, we need to change.”

To say the least, Manchester United is not looking red anymore. After scoring a goal, the players were just tracking back as if they are waiting for Leicester to attack.

The coach is to be blamed and we are not even expecting him to change his style of playing but if he fails to do so, he will be inching closer to an exit.
