Paul Pogba has played some of his best football at Manchester United in the last few months, after returning from injury. The Frenchman has adapted well to his new position in a double pivot under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have done very well together in the midfield, and today Pogba’s agent has confirmed that the World Cup winner will stay at United.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has always been very vocal about taking his client to a “bigger” club, mostly Real Madrid. Last summer, Pogba almost moved away from Old Trafford to Spain but a move didn’t materialize. The Frenchman was touted to be sold this summer following his long-term injury at the beginning of the season.
But after recovering from injury, Pogba has built a superb partnership with Bruno Fernandes in the midfield for United. In a recent interview with Di Marzio, Raiola said “Pogba is key player for Man Utd, they have an important project and he’s 100 per cent included. Man Utd will not accept any bid on this summer to sell Pogba.”
Pogba has evolved into a controller of midfield in the last couple of months and has improved his defensive abilities as well. His stay is great news for United but the board need to back his decision of staying by bringing in world-class players this summer.
