Paul Scholes talks about the three players that United should target

Legendary Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes wants United to go for these three players to increase the quality of its squad.

Ole Gunnar Solskjkaer and his players had an effective season up until this point. They fixed the second spot in the Premier League and will challenge for the Europa League title following two days.

On the off chance that they can finish off their season with a trophy, it will be viewed as quite possibly the most productive season since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club. But still, United didn’t even a single Premier League trophy since Ferguson left the club.

Even after a solid season, United needs to put immense efforts to bring some big names to Old Trafford so that they can challenge Manchester City next year for the Premier League title.

Solskjaer has conceded already that the squad needs “a few players to challenge higher up in the table”. Top-notch players, for example, Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho, and Declan Rice are supposed to be on the radar of the Red Devils.

While talking on the Webby & O’Neill show, Paul Scholes said, “I think we need someone who is a creative midfield player. Grealish or Sancho, one of them would be ideal. It would be great to have a left-footed center back but I don’t think it’s needed, I don’t think we are desperate for that. I would like to see a center-half come in next to Maguire. I think Lindelof is doing alright, I just think alright isn’t good enough to win a league. Marquinhos from PSG, I think he’s a brilliant center-half next to Maguire but again you’re talking about a lot of money.”

Be that as it may, under the current financial conditions, it is practically not possible for the club to sign every target. Paul Scholes accepts that instead of a number-nine, United ought to be searching for a more creative midfielder and a centre-back

Marquinhos has been a leader for Paris Saint-Germain. With another project in progress under the direction of Mauricio Pochettino, it is difficult to see the 27-year old Brazillian leaving the French outfit.

In any case, whenever United can pull this transfer, we will see a solid partnership moulding at the core of the defence.  Scholes has been spot on with the names but still United needs to cover up the transfers quickly.
