Rumors kept on growing about Paul Pogba’s departure from Manchester United before the start of the season. And till 31st August Pogba was speculated to leave United and join Spanish club Barcelona. After all these rumors ended, Pogba’s interview made it a talking point again. Whether the best midfielder would be leave United this January.
Pogba was assumed to have be falling-out with Mourinho before the start of the season, until they both made it clear in an interview about their relationships. This grew interest of other clubs in the French midfielder. Apart from Barcelona he was also presumed to be joining his former club Juventus again.
“There was a lot of talk, but it was just like that, I’m under contract in Manchester,” Pogba said.
“My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”
But when all the reports were gaining silence, Pogba’s recent interview again rose suspicions on his willingness to leave Manchester and also hinted on further bust-ups between Mourinho and Pogba.
When asked about his relationship with Mourinho he said,”We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right. One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 percent, no matter which coach I always give everything for United – I can not say more.”
