Pogba returns to training

Paul Pogba has played some of his best football at Manchester United since the restart, anchoring the midfield and also producing great performances. As reported earlier, the Frenchman had tested positive for the coronavirus and was thus dropped from the French squad. But it is now being reported by Manchester Evening News that Pogba has returned to training at Carrington today having recovered well.

Pogba spent most of last season on the sidelines and his injury one of the biggest reasons for United’s mid-season slump. But when he returned from injury, he cemented his place in the starting XI and linked up very well with Bruno Fernandes. Pogba’s dropping out of the French squad scared everyone at United, but his return training has assured all the fans.

The Frenchman is one of the best midfielders in the world and his return will be music to Solskjaer’s ears. But it is still unclear if the midfielder will travel for tomorrow’s pre-season friendly against Aston Villa. The likes of Juan Mata, Wan Bisakka and Phil Jones are yet to be spotted in Carrington though, questioning their availability next weekend.

Pogba’s return will be a huge boost for Manchester United and he will try to have a better season than what he had last time around.
