According to his agent Mino Raiola,.Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba “would not mind” returning to Juventus at the end of the season as “Italy is like home” for the Frenchman.
Pogba still continues to recover from an ankle injury that he sustained early on in the season and has been restricted to only five Premier League appearances. Ever since the start of the new campaign, the 26-year-old World Cup winner has been linked with a return to Serie A heavyweights Juventus as well as LaLiga giants Real Madrid as Pogba is reported to be unhappy at Old Trafford.
Pogba left for United for Turin back in the summer of 2012 but the ace midfielder was prized back to Old Trafford in 2016 for a then-world record transfer fee of €105million (£89.3m).
However, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has put his client’s future up in the air following Juventus drawing against the 10 men of Inter Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia on Thursday.
While speaking to reporters, the super-agent explained that Italy is like home for Pogba and the Frenchman would not mind returning back to Serie A before the start of the Euro’s, “Italy is like home for Paul. He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen after the Euros, Paul wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Manchester United if they are in a difficult situation.”
With United currently languishing in 8th position on the Premier League table, it seems unlikely that they will secure Champions League football for the next campaign and Pogba could decide to leave the fallen English giants.
