Manchester United may need to be ready to lose key midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window after his agent Mina Raiola has all but confirmed that the Frenchman will force a move away from Old Trafford.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place on the Premier League table and will not be playing Champions League football after failing to qualify for the elite European tournament. This also means that United will find It difficult to keep hold of a few key players at the club.
The 26-year-old midfielder Pogba is one of those players and is being targeted by La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer. Pogba has also revealed his admiration for Zinedine Zidane and stated that it is his dream to play for the Los Blancos in the future.
However, United are not willing to let Pogba leave Old Trafford anytime soon despite his contract expiring in 2021 because they are aware of the potential and talent that the midfielder possesses. But Pogba’s agent Mina Raiola has now all but confirmed that his client is desperate to move away from the Theatre Of Dreams this summer.
While speaking to reporters, the Italian super-agent said, “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are. Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”
If United do now allow Pogba to leave, Raiola is also suspected to force a move away from the club for his client.
