Manchester United’s talismanic midfielder Paul Pogba had reportedly agreed on staying at Old Trafford as he committed his future to United. It was earlier reported that his agent, Mino Raiola, had also stated that Pogba will stay at United this summer and talks for his contract will begin soon. But shocking reports from Tuttosport suggest that Pogba is still waiting for an offer from Juventus in winter.
Pogba’s future has always been a cause of concern to the United board as his agent has linked him with other clubs. It was widely believed that the Frenchman would join Juventus this summer, had the pandemic not have happened. But with the COVID-19 pandemic, no club can afford to pay for Pogba, thus his only choice is to stay.
It is now being reported that Pogba is waiting for a bid from Juventus in the near future. The midfielder, despite previous reports, is not yet ready to commit his future to United and will be reportedly happy to work with Pirlo and Ronaldo. It is highly unlikely though, as Pogba has looked very happy at United lately and Juventus will find it difficult to pay for Pogba’s transfer fees.
Manchester United must keep Pogba as he is one of the best midfielders in the world and an integral part of the United squad.
