Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams had a stellar start to his career at the highest level with Manchester United. The full-back played second fiddle to Luke Shaw in the left-back spot as Shaw was injured for a long-time last season. It has now been reported by The Athletic that an agent has suggested Williams go on-loan to another club this season.
Manchester United signed Alex Telles from Porto on the last day of the summer transfer window. With the signing of the Brazilian left-back, the chance of getting minutes on the pitch for Brandon Williams has decreased this season. The full-back has a lot of potential but needs to get it right as he has been criticized in the past because of his right-footedness.
It has now been reported that an unnamed Premier League agent has suggested the youngster leave United on-loan this summer to get game time. Southampton enquired about the prospect of signing Williams on-loan, but United outrightly denied. Brandon Williams is a product of Machester United’s academy and surely has the talent to excel in the Premier League.
It is unlikely for Williams to leave this season on-loan but a move should not be ruled out to the Championship.
