Rashford and Greenwood nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year

Manchester United FC had a good season in the Premier League at last time around, mainly because of their forward line. Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood were in top form throughout the season scoring goals left, right and centre. It has been reported that Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford have now been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the year award.

Marcus Rashford is 22-years old and has been previously nominated for the same award, but without being able to win it. But this time around, the United winger is one of the favourites to win the award, because of his 17 goals in the Premier League last season. Rashford finished second in United’s top goalscorers this season and could have had even more goals to his name but missed out due to injuries.

Mason Greenwood, 18-years old, enjoyed a stellar season in the Premier League and was a constant starter in the United XI since the restart. The Englishman also earned his first call-up to the English national squad and has a great chance to win the PFA Young Player of the year award. Other players nominated for this award are Mason Mount, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Tammy Abraham and Bukayo Saka.

Both Rashford and Greenwood will be looking to have an even better 2020/21 season and will try their best to reach the top of the scoring charts.
