Manchester United star Marcus Rashford received heavy racial abuse online after United’s defeat against Villarreal.
It was a rather frustrating night for Man United star Marcus Rashford. In addition to the fact that he had to manage a terrible match in the Europa League final yet additionally suffer serious abuse from his own fans via social media.
Rashford himself tweeted about this on his Twitter account, he said that he got more than 70 racially abusive messages on his social media accounts. It is the most recent occurrence that is really disappointing and sad that has grasped the attention of world football.
At least 70 racial slurs on my social accounts counted so far. For those working to make me feel any worse than I already do, good luck trying 👍🏾

Rashford as far as it matters for him won’t be hit by such abuses and stays confident that he will rise on his feet despite such treatment.
Rashford says that severe punishment should be given to those guilty of this crime. This is not a normal thing and social media should take strict action against those found guilty. He has already filed a police complaint in relation to the matter.
All things considered, as Rashford further said that, one such message came from a teacher. It is upsetting to realize that those with such small mindsets are educating the young students of today.
If we unite as one and battle this developing threat, there is little expectation in a more brilliant tomorrow. Fortunately, an enormous number of fans of different clubs have tossed their weight in behind Rashford.
Many other players have received such treatment and even pundits are not facing the same threat. Such shambolic abuses have been punished strictly by the authority whenever found guilty, but even after all the actions, the crime still doesn’t fade away.
Fans who are guilt of this and who abuse players, pundits, coaches in any form should not be called fans of the club. They don’t deserve to be the fans. We all support Marcus Rashford at this difficult hour.
