Rashford speaks on Manchester United’s progress

Manchester United has made massive progress and come a long way from where they were at the beginning of the season. The path hasn’t necessarily been easy ever since Sir Alex Fergusson left but Manchester United have tried their best.

Ole had a stellar start to life as interim manager as Manchester United were getting on a winning spree but things didn’t take a lot of time to change as inconsistencies started to crop up again.


Ole Gunnar Sloksjaer has lost four domestic semi-finals and despite their good display on several occasions conquering that last hurdle seems to be the ultimate obstacle that they cannot get through.


Rashford has told Sky Sports “The image that we wanted and the Manchester United team that we wanted to be, we have taken massive steps towards that.”


The inclusion of Bruno Fernandes in the team has had a great effect on all of the other players as his hunger and determination on the pitch is slowly starting to rub off on his teammates.

Rashford is also having a great season and it feels like he is just breaking records with every second match.

Rashford feels that Manchester United has taken great steps to achieve what they want but there is still some way to go if they want to mount any kind of sustained title challenge.

Manchester United’s time post the Fergusson era has been witness to a lot of chaos and change. Managers have come and left, players have come and left and everything felt like it was in utter freefall.

Jose Mourinho managed to deliver the Europa League title but his antics and questionable man-management led him to being ousted from the club which was then taken over by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
