This Reporter Believes Alexis Sanchez Will Quit Manchester United

Sky Sports reporter Mark McAdam has admitted that he feels sorry for Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez and has backed the Chilean to leave the club this summer after a torrid few months.

There was plenty of hope for Manchester United fans when Alexis Sanchez arrived at Old Trafford from North London back in the January transfer window of 2018 in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan make a move to Arsenal.  But the 30-year-old has struggled to say the least in his 18-month spell at the Theatre Of Dreams.

Sanchez scored 80 times for Arsenal in 166 appearances for the Gunners but found the back of the only four times in a United jersey. His mega money wages have also got the fans thinking whether he is worth that value with speculations of Sanchez moving away from Manchester United this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will lay out his plans soon enough.

While speaking as a reporter on Sky Sports, Mark McAdams tipped the 30-year-old Sanchez to leave United in the summer because he feels sorry for the star attacker as his quality is seldom being showcased at Old Trafford, “I feel sorry for him because I don’t want to see a footballer – particularly someone as talented as Alexis Sanchez – fail on the biggest stage. And that’s what’s happening at Manchester United He was unreal at Arsenal. The number of times I watched him drag that team towards three points… It just hasn’t worked out at Man Utd and I feel he deserves an opportunity to prove himself elsewhere. He has quality. Players don’t become bad players overnight. He will go on to prove he’s a good player.”
