Edinson Cavani has received huge praise from Rio Ferdinand and the former red devil’s defender has given few tips for Martial, Rashford, and Greenwood to follow.
Cavani has given his indications of what he is capable to do. Solksjaer didn’t get much of his targets in the summer transfer window and hence opted to snap up some last-minute targets. One prominent name that Solksjaer always followed was none other than Cavani. He needed an experienced player at the top of the attack to spearhead the team and make others learn about his art.
Initially, everyone doubted about the transfer as Cavani didn’t play for seven months. It was a point on everyone’s lips that can Cavani deliver or will he be crushed in the age burden.
But everything happened as Solksjaer wanted. Cavani has been a real sensation, evident in the recent game against Southampton. Just as you want any striker in your team. It’s worth having him just for that to improve these boys but they’ve got to be willing to learn. They’ve got to want to learn. They’ve got to look at Edinson Cavani and say, I want that in my game. How am I going to do that? Analysis man at the club can you give me some videos of Cavani’s movement? That’s the type of stuff you’ve got to do to improve. Self-analyse, self-reflect. Look at yourself. Who can I learn from? He’s the man. Over 200 goals at PSG listen, he knows what to do. I’d be tapping into that massively.”
