Marcos Rojo’s career with Manchester United has been nothing short of dismal, as he has been injured more often than not. The Argentine international has been very inconsistent at United and Solskjaer has found it difficult to field Rojo in the starting XI. It is now being reported by ESPN that Marcos Rojo has impressed Solskjaer since coming back to training from Argentina.
It was earlier reported that United were open to selling Rojo, as the manager didn’t see him in his plans. The centre-back was sent out to Estudiantes, on-loan in January, but managed to get only one appearance for the Argentine club. That has been the case for most of Rojo’s career, as his injury woes have overtaken his talent.
But it is now being reported that Marcos Rojo has been training twice a day to keep up with his fitness. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been reportedly impressed with Rojo’s commitment to United and might give him a chance to return to the first-team squad. Marcos Rojo could be one of the best left-footed centre-backs in the Premier League, on his day.
United have been reportedly in the lookout of a left-footed left centre-back and Rojo could be the solution to their problems.
