Romelu Lukaku makes it Even Clearer That He Wants To Leave The Club

Manchester United is arguably the biggest club in the world of football but their footballers have seemed to tarnish some of the gloss over the past few seasons.

Manchester United finished sixth last season in the Premier League table but there is no denying that the 20 time League champions are still one of the biggest clubs in Europe. But over the recent few seasons, there has been some sense of negativity around Old Trafford as the fans, players, managers and board have not all been on the same page.

Even the big-name players at the club are not keen on remaining and fighting for the badge and Belgian striker Lukaku is eager to leave United as soon as possible. The 26-year-old striker arrived at Manchester United back in the summer of 2017 from Everton in a staggering £75 million transfer deal but has failed to win over the fans at the club despite scoring on a consistent basis. His misses have been highlighted and overshadowed his goals and Lukaku has also been ridiculed on plenty of occasions which have led him to feel that he is unwanted and unloved by Norwegian boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Lukaku has been very vocal toward a move to Inter Milan as he revealed that it has always been his dream to play in the Serie A “Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream. I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on United.”

This summer transfer window offers a perfect opportunity for Lukaku to make his dream move to the San Siro as the Nerazzurri have managed to qualify for the Champions League while United will be playing in the Europa League.

Lukaku has showered praise on manager Antonio Conte and admitted that the Italian is the ‘best manager in the world’ clearly indicating that he wants a move to play under the former Chelsea boss at Inter Milan.

Last week, Lukaku dropped another hint that he is eager to play for Inter Milan as he posted a picture on his Instagram story staring into the camera wearing a blue and black t-shirt which is incidentally the colors of the Inter jersey. Clearly, another message hinting that he wants out of Manchester United to join the Italian outfit.
