Sergio Romero has had a torrid summer, after failing to secure a move away from Manchester United in spite of several clubs interested in him. The Argentine international didn’t see his future at Old Trafford anymore, especially after the arrival of Dean Henderson. It is now being the Daily Mail that Sergio Romero failed to secure a move to MLS, thus returned to Carrington.
It was earlier reported that Romero was linked with a move to the Major League Soccer. The Argentine goalkeeper has finally returned to Carrington despite not having his name in neither the Premier League nor Champions League squads. Romero has no future at Manchester United and should try to leave the club as soon as possible, having reached the twilight of his career.
It has been reported that Romero’s move to MLS side Inter Miami broke down, which forced him to come back to Carrington. He will soon have crunch talks with the Manchester United board regarding his imminent departure from Old Trafford. Letting go of Romero will be good for all parties involved as the veteran as no place at United anymore.
Romero might terminate his contract with the Red Devils or might wait till the January transfer window to get a transfer.
