Ronaldo’s one-word reply to rumors stating that he could join Sporting

Through his Instagram, Cristiano Ronaldo responded to rumours that he would sign with Sporting Lisbon this summer.

According to Daily Mirror, Sporting Lisbon was considering Ronaldo’s potential return on a loan deal this summer.

Additionally, the story stated that the striker’s vehicle had been observed parked near Sporting Lisbon’s stadium. Ronaldo has already refuted these reports by leaving the comment shown below on an Instagram post.

The fact that Sporting Lisbon has not contacted Ronaldo suggests he is not interested in going back there this summer.

The likelihood of Ronaldo going back to Sporting at this point appears remote, as the Portuguese star will undoubtedly be eager to join an elite club to establish himself after Manchester United had such a disastrous season.

If Ronaldo were to leave Manchester United, a transfer to Sporting would seem more like a lovely fairy tale than a practical answer.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants Manchester United to be more ambitious. He didn’t name any specific individuals, but he thinks the club needs at least three to four key players as quickly as possible after Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Tottenham were all strengthened with top-tier players.

The 37-year-old’s dissatisfaction is understandable, but we believe he should hold off on making any final decisions at least until the end of July so he can fully comprehend Man United’s true strategy. The preseason hasn’t truly begun, so we haven’t seen Ten Hag’s ideas for the team come to action.

It will be intriguing to watch if Ronaldo departs Old Trafford this summer.
