Roy Keane calls United players disgraceful after the Tottenham thrashing

Manchester United’s loss against Tottenham has infuriated most of the United fans, as it was coupled with a poor transfer window. The loss was the Red Devils’ worst performance in the Premier League era, conceding six goals at Old Trafford. As per reports from the Independent, former United captain, Roy Keane has unleashed his fury at the Manchester United squad and their shambolic performance against the Spurs.

Roy Keane was arguably Manchester United’s best captain and has always led from the front with his fierce attitude. After his retirement, he has been a vocal critic of anyone who has played poorly, especially Manchester United players. On the other hand, Keane has been a supported of Solskjaer as the United boss but has also said United need to perform well for Solskjaer to keep his job.

In his talk after United’s loss against Tottenham, Keane said: “The performance against Spurs was disgraceful. We’ve all had bad days in football, but it was disgracefully bad, some of the players’ performances. Too many bluffers and they will cost Ole his job. The players he’s got there, they threw the previous manager under the bus, they’ll do the same to Ole.”

With rumours of Mauricio Pochettino already surfacing after a poor string of performances and an awful transfer window, Solskjaer needs to get his act quickly. Manchester United players need to play well after the international break and need to get their Premier League season back on track.
