Roy Keane voices concerns after clash against Arsenal

Manchester United have seen a recent dip in form with only one point in their last two games. They have struggled to score against the ‘Big Six’ club in the Premier League now and their last outing against Arsenal just proves this point further.

“I’m scratching my head with United, really,” Keane told Sky Sports.

He was referring to what seems like a lack of confidence amongst the players in the dressing room.

Many people were praising Ole for how he transformed this team after what seemed to be their worst start in a season for a long time. They were on a great unbeaten streak and even defeated fellow rivals, Liverpool, in the FA Cup.

They were riding high with confidence until they seemed to falter to a bottom of the table Sheffield United. Many people have accused Manchester United of playing it too safe and sitting too deep when it comes to the big clubs.

Their last goal against the top six in the Premier League came in a horrendous defeat to Tottenham during the start of the season. They have played out draws ever since and many even question whether it had a psychological effect on the team. Manchester United had a few presentable chances against arsenal but their finishing product lacked conviction. While Manchester United may have enjoyed the lion share of the chances the best one of the match certainly fell Arsenal’s way.

Playing games thick and fast can also have a psychological and mental effect on the team as there is a very small gap and one has to adapt to it very quickly.
