Shaw to be out for a month due to hamstring injury

Luke Shaw has been an integral part of Manchester United’s playing XI so far, as the left-back has been fantastic at the beginning of the season. The Englishman was in good form, defending well and also creating chances, but against Everton was injured yet again. It is now being reported by Manchester United’s Official Website that Luke Shaw is set to be on the sidelines for about three to four weeks.

The 25-year old has had a lot of injury problems lately, even though he has performed constantly well for the Red Devils. Alex Telles’ signing has impacted Shaw’s game in the right way, as he has become better. But with another injury, Shaw’s development once again seems to take a wrong turn.

It has been reported that Shaw will miss about a month’s action recovering from the injury he endured against Everton. He is likely to miss the games in the Premier League and Champions League against West Brom, Istanbul Basaksehir, Southampton and PSG, at least.  Luckily for the Red Devils, Telles has returned to full fitness and will be able to replace Shaw in the starting XI.

Luke Shaw needs to look at his fitness carefully now, as he gets injured more often than not as it won’t take long for Telles to completely bench Shaw.
