The prospects of a quick sale for Manchester United have suffered another setback as Sheikh Jassim expressed frustration with the Glazer brothers and stated that he is tired of being treated as a fool.
The club was put on the market in late 2022, and the takeover was expected to be finalized by the spring.
Since the beginning, two prominent bidders, a Qatari group led by Sheikh Jassim and Ineos led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have been considered as the top contenders to purchase Man United.
However, neither party has reached an agreement with the Glazer family, who are holding out for a £6 billion valuation of the club.

Throughout the negotiations, Sheikh Jassim’s patience was tested by the Glazers, and at one point, he even set a deadline for his bid. However, this turned out to be an unsuccessful bluff that the Glazers were willing to challenge.
Recent developments suggest that tensions are escalating regarding the Qatari group’s interest in the takeover of United.
Matt Slater of The Athletic has reported on Stretford Paddock that the Qataris’ ongoing interest in the club is uncertain.

The takeover process has been stagnant for weeks, causing frustration for manager Erik ten Hag, who has been unable to make significant moves in the transfer window. As a result, Ten Hag is likely to face restrictions until the Deadline Day approaches.
If the current scenario continues, the club will face issues in the upcoming months, and the fans will not be happy to see the Glazers at the helm of the helm ahead of the forthcoming season.
Dragging the entire takeover saga beyond the summer will cause more bad than good as the current suitors may opt to leave the race.
