Many names have been linked with the managerial spot at Old Trafford including the likes of Zidane, Ten Hag, and Brendan Rodgers. However, Mauricio Pochettino is widely seen as the favourite for the job.
The Argentinian had a fantastic time with Tottenham Hotspur, ensuring the Top 4 qualification every year. He also guided the North London team to the Champions League final in 2019. He was fired in the months that followed before being hired by PSG at the beginning of 2021.
Last season, he failed to lift the Ligue 1 trophy and exited the Champions League in the semi-finals. But now he has the chance to lead a strike force that includes Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr.
