Manchester United’s legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s praises are not easy to receive. Ferguson who is the man behind the Golden Era of Manchester United had signed some of the best players in the world.
It was not rather the best signings, they were talented players whom he signed but then made them world-class. Having a powerful winger has always been the top priority of Manchester United. Sancho was targeted for the past two seasons and now even Ferguson has given his approval on signing the ‘impressive’ winger.
As reported by SportsWitness: “I think a lot of Jadon Sancho, with his one-on-one duels, as an assister and scorer, he is extremely dangerous. He has so much potential, he helps the team. That’s why he’ll be valuable to England over the course of the tournament.”
Sir Alex Ferguson’s words give more clarity about how good the player is and even the legendary manager himself highly prefers him. He is right with his words as we all know how dangerous Sancho can be while playing on the wings. He had assisted 20 times and scored a further 16 goals for Borussia Dortmund in the 2020-21 season.
Manchester United had been in very close contact with Dortmund and Sancho this summer. As it has already been reported that Manchester United has agreed on personal terms with Sancho and is set to hand him a contract till 2026. The agent fees and the player’s wages have already been discussed.

The only matter that has to be solved is the transfer price. Borussia Dortmund is holding for a fee of around £90m while United had offered £77m in their first bid for the player.
It is expected that United will place a second bid which will match Dortmund’s expectations. Everything will be sorted once the player returns back from the Euros. It will be a signature signing for Manchester United.
