Solksjaer doesn’t expect any new signings in the coming days

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has admitted that the club doesn’t look to add more players this summer. He also said that he is happy with his squad and any more additions will be a bonus.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United was in the hunt for a defensive midfielder and a right-back but it seems that any move will be very difficult to come up with in the next ten days.

Manchester United has already signed Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane this summer. Many other players came very close to make a move and some of those players were Eduardo Camavinga, Kieran Trippier, Ruben Neves.

Eduardo Camavinga came closest and it was looking as if he could be the third signing after Raphael Varane but now Solksjaer has confirmed that more signings are highly unlikely to happen.

The club is focused on outgoings and has already sent players like Andreas Pereira, Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe on loan. Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot could also end up on this list if the right offer comes through before the transfer window shuts close on August 31.

Any hopes of landing Athletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez was been shattered after Chelsea’s recent talks with the player regarding a loan move.

It seems as if United will not make any new additions and will be happy with what they have at their disposal.

It’s all up to Solksjaer to bring out the best from his new signings.
